BIO
When I was little I used to pretend I was doing play by play commentary for Red Sox games. It was pretty sad. Then fast forward to when I was 13 and I started a band. So I put radio on the back burner for a while. When I was 20 I decided to go to radio school. That was March of 2006. In the last year I went to school, Interned at WAAF in Boston, left Boston completely and moved to NYC for 4 months and interned on the Howard Stern show and now I’m here living the dream.
Biggest Accomplishment: Getting an on air job here at PIXY. Beats delivering pizza and talking to myself.
Musical Talents: I play bass in a southern metal band called Truman Highway. Check us out at www.trumanhighway.com. I also play the triangle.
How I Got into Radio: Often, when I’m bored I will drive around ALL day just listening to the radio, wanting to be that guy on the other end of the speakers. One day, I heard a commercial for Connecticut School of Broadcasting, decided to give it a shot, and the rest is history. Not much history, but it's history nonetheless.
What I Do at PIXY 103: I am one of the Weekend Warriors. I also scrape gum from the bottoms of the tables and chairs from time to time.
Favorite Classic Rock Band: Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band.
Favorite New Band: Down
Album That Changed My Life: Down - II and Metallica - Ride the Lightning.
Favorite Foods: Steak, sausage and mushroom pizza.
Best TV Shows: 24, The Sopranos, The Three Stooges, Deadliest Catch.
Favorite Alcoholic Beverage: Shiner Beer, only found in the great state of Texas. But if I’m anywhere else Crown Royal with a Coors Light chaser.
Job I Would like to Have If I Wasn’t on the Radio: Rock star or a cop...Polar opposites but fun stuff.
Least Favorite Celebrity: Paris Hilton
Person I Would Most like to Meet Dead or Alive: I’ve been lucky enough to meet pretty much all my heroes but, it would be amazing to have been able to meet the one and only Cliff Burton.
