BIO

Grew up with a piano in my room because my parents had no where else to put it. Learned the bass part of "Boogie Woogie" at age 7. 

Musical talents: I wanted to be a drummer when I was young and learned to drum with my feet tap dancing instead. Occasionally I'll pick up a tambourine with a local band and jam. I started playing guitar at 16. I just don't play as often as I should. I also love to sing.

Musical Influence: I would have to say my brother, Mike. When I was 10, he was in a rock band and producing an album. Later, I sang back up on a few songs.  I grew up around rock bands as long as I can remember. My dad played the trumpet and my mom was a singer. 

How I got into radio: I started board operations at a local station on the Cape in 1987 and was asked to go on the air a few months later. I totally fell in love with radio after that. I have been all over the Cape Airwaves. I was on the air for Cape Cod's Rock Alternative, UN 93.5 and 101.1. in '95. Now that frequency is our sister station Frank FM.  Final stop, PIXY 103. 

Fav Classic Rock Band would be the mighty Led Zeppelin. I loved Page's double guitar, that's when I fell in love with the 12 string. I keep praying that they will reunite and tour. When the ‘90’s came around, I fell in love with Pearl Jam.

Fav alcoholic beverage: The North End Martini with a cherry and a twist. 

Fav Eats: Being a native Cape Codder of course I love seafood. When's the next clam bake? 

Fav colors: are purple and blue 

Fav Sweets: CHOCOLATE with a glass of Shiraz. 

Worse Fear: Being locked out of the air studio when the last 10 seconds of a song is playing. Dead Air!!!! I have actually had that dream.  Funny, when I was coming out of anesthesia, I kept thinking I was at a PIXY remote at Dino’s Sports Bar.
